Myth says it was it was build by a Devil Naktya Ravalya in one night. The well played a vital role as it had secret underground tunnels which were used durning the battle for supply of ammunitions and food in and out of the fort. The well is 110 feet deep, Octagonal in shape and around 50 feet in diameter
