O ^ in O M p o .S O S n M o; o CD -l^ -2 S Oi ts X-EAY DIAGNOSIS IN DISEASES OF THE CHEST 361 In thirteen of the fifteen cases the aortic arch was the seat of theaneurism; in one of these there was a second aneurism in the innomi-nate artery also; in the fourteenth case there were two aneurisms,one in the innominate and another in the subclavian artery; in thefifteenth case the aneurism was in the subclavian artery. The physical examination of twelve out of fourteen of the casesof aortic aneurism was given in the hospital records; in five cases therewere no physical signs of aneurism; in eight cases the heart was en-larged, and in five of these there were murmurs indicative of valvulardefects, four of which were aortic and one mitral. Arterio-sclerosis wasfound in the three cases in which an autopsy was made.
