It flowers early and continues perfect through- out the season, its blooms are of the largest size, all that can be wished for in shape and are carried on long, stiff, practically leafless, stems well above the plant; in color it is a much admired beautiful shade of carmine-rose with a brilliant suffusion difficult to describe. $ each. Lady Lavender. Flowers very large with unusually broad shell-like petals, color a pleasing and pretty shade of lavender pink at the edges and tips of the petals, the centre of same being a silvery white, a fine exhibition and garden variety. 75 cts. each. Lucero. Brown-buff with bronze shadings, extra long good stems, fine for cutting. 75 cts. each. Lyndhurst. A good all around Dahlia or the garden or cutting, a brilliant cardinal-red. 35 cts. each. Not a deep but nevertheless a most attrac- tive flower, the long petals being more or less curled or twisted give it a most graceful appearance, standing up well on long stiff wiry stems, color white with just the faintest pleasing suffusion of delicate mauve; early and free. $ each.
