Rare Fuchsias. These are very fine varieties of recent introduction. Phenomenal-The largest of all Fuchsias, and also very distinct in its rich, dark colorings. Enormous double flowers, sepals scarlet, corolla a bright violet purple. Little Beauty—A perfect little gem of a fuchsia, growing but Cinches high and always full of bloom. Mad. Bruant—Enormous size, very double, corolla fine holiotropo blue, sepals deep coral red. New and fine. Trailing Queen—Good plants for hanging pots are rare— as rare as they are beautiful. This new Fuchsia never grows erect, but always trails down over side of the pot, and is the most beautiful of all plants for suspension. Luxuriant without being weedy, procumbent without being sprawling, clothed with handsome foliage, and loaded with hundreds of gracefully drooping flowers, nothing more could be asked for as a basket plant. A well grown plant of this Fuchsia is a weeping fountain of waxen-scarlet and violet-purple bells, and it remains in this condition for months at a t ime. Very robust and easy to grow, the branches reaching a length of four and five feet, blooming and grewing nearly the whole year. The leaves are dark green, ribbed and rayed with red or crimson, which makes them luminousandhandsome. Flowers and buds long and graceful, borne in large clusters at the end of the vines. When expanded the flowers are very large in size, tube and sepals bright rosy scarlet, while the corolla at opening is a rich violet purple, changing the second day to a fine shade of crim- son, the two colors in the same cluster contrasting beau- tifully.
