They located in SpringCity, this county, but were soon compelled to leave onaccount of the Indians, and moved to Manti, where theyare still living, father aged 70 and mother 75 years. made a trip across the plains in 1800 in a churchtrain for emigrants. He has always followed the occu-pation of a farmer, and now has a good farm of 50 acres,and a nice house in town. Mr. Munk is one of the relia-ble citizens of Manti, and was elected by the people inthe fall of 1895 to represent their interests in the CityCouncil, ne is also a stockholder in the Co-op. store. Hewas married in Salt Lake City, November 24, 1808, toMiss Eunice A., daughter of James P. and Eunice (Rei-ser) Brown, born in the first log house with a board floor. HON. JOHN LOWRYMANTI.
