Arnoldo Garcia, a native of Toppenish, Wash., and a transmissions system operator with 2d Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division (MARDIV), cuts a zip tie to set up a Dipole antenna as part of the 2d MARDIV High-Frequency (HF) Competition at Camp Pendleton, Va., July 13, 2021. The competition enhanced HF transmission proficiency and capabilities to prepare Marines for future expeditionary conflicts where the area is either contested or degraded.
