Yellow Helmeted Honeyeater on branch


Bird is wild but has legbands (as do all birds of this species) as all these birds are critically endangered and therefore very highly monitored. Less than 200 birds in the wild, most having been bred at Healesville Sanctuary and released at Yellingbo. Endemic to Victoria.
