After all couplings are applied, the hoseare handled the second time to apply thefittings at opposite end. A vise was usedon this machine simply because it was athand and could be used as a vise just aswell on the machine as on a bench, andit was also of utility in securing the hose clamps as the fiuishing touch in the oper-ation. This machine has assisted inapplying the fittings to loo air hose inten hours, a record seldom demanded in arepair shop. ,> 8- ^.
