Sow in drills about eight inches apart, four pounds to the acre. Requires no cultivation, as it will outstrip in growth all weeds. May be also sown broadcast, six to seven pounds per acre. Per oz, 20 cents; per ft, $ FANCY MIXED LAWN GRASS SEED. HOW TO MAKE A LAWN. The ground should be spaded deeply and thoroughly, and a good compact of well decom- posed and finely pulverized manure or rich loam spread over the ground. Now sow the seed, and, if possible, use a roller to firm the ground. This, in our opinion, is the best method to pursue. When the grass has grown two or three inches in height, use the lawn mower. The weeds and foul grass can be killed out by frequent clipping. As a guide for the proper quantity to order, we may state that one pound of Fancy Lawn Mixture will sow 15x20 feet: five bushels is required to sow an acre.
