Hackney Empire and St Joseph’s Hospice joined forces to create a 1km run that invited people to dress in their most fabulous dame costumes or as their favourite pantomime characters. It was set up to help Hackney Empire raise funds to keep the arts accessible for all ages and enable St Joseph’s Hospice to provide the best care for people of East London with terminal illness.
