Soyuz TMA descent module landing in Kazakhstan. The spacecraft is firing its landing thrusters to slow its descent. This is the Soyuz TMA-08M spacecraft that carried the Expedition 36 crew back from a five-and-a-half month stay on the International Space Station. On board were Russian cosmonauts Pavel Vinogradov and Alexander Misurkin, with US astronaut Christopher Cassidy. The landing was in a remote area near the town of Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan.
