The eggs are very numerous and small, and the brood pouch is not visible, but the firm line of the outer edge of the egg-cluster has the appearance of having been made by some external container. All that can be seen, however, is the large mass of eggs adhering together and apparently held in place by the twisting of the mother's body around them. I cannot make a thorough examination without uncoiling the specimen and so dislodging the eggs, so I have to leave a number of characters

The colour is a pale brown and all the markings are faded from the body. The tentacles and cirri are indistinctly moniliform.
