Seagull in garden with a bowl of drinking water, East Sussex, UK
The day after this was taken, this gull was shot by a youth with an airgun; he survived with a badly wounded leg, and still managed to look after 4 chicks; but several other gulls were shot from chimney tops and died in the street. RSPCA called and responded.
