The principal, and the base rhombusesare of the same proportions, as seen bytheir angles, and therefore enclose simi-lar ellipses, which gives less decided vari-ety in the outline at the base. The up-per side-rhombus, with its angle of 18*^,side of one in the central rhombus of60% gives the comparatively complexand unfamiliar ratio -j^.
