People dressed in red march while holding banners during the demonstration in socialist trade union ABVV organized a national demonstration for strong and justly financed social security. Thousands of people gathered around the North station to fight the risk of a deficit in social security of billion euros by 2024 as a result of the under-financing. People were holding red umbrellas as a symbol of protection.
