Marines with the Small Unmanned Aircraft System Operator (SUAS-O) Course reassemble an RQ-20B Puma aircraft prior a night training mission over Makua Valley Military Reservation, Feb. 7, 2019. This course is designed to incorporate classroom lessons with live flight training to certify operators to use both the Raven and RQ-20B Puma aircraft. This was the first time Training and Logistics Support Activity Pacific taught the course locally to Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Forces on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, since standing up the detachment a few months ago.
