In some parts of the southwest and the northwest, there are local shortages due to drought, but in the main they are bal- anced by surpluses in surrounding sec- tions. MOTT-LY GlfANXNGS. Harry Chaapel, of Chaapel's Seed Store, Williamsport, Pa., compented upon the subject of habit, noting how a habit can be imbibed into one's system. He illustrated by mentioning that last fall he moved into the store adjoining, and that even yet he and others make for the old place, while patrons of the firm formerly located in the new store do likewise, so that many people visit the new place looking for the other firm. The result is that the store gets many more visitors than before and some of them make valuable additions to its big list of customers. "Get the habit," is the slogan here. W. M. CATALOGUES BECEIVED.
