Here's a spooky sight - a deserted funfair. Not derelict, but seen at dawn, the only time you will see it like this. It's at Rye Farm Fields by the banks of the Thames at Abingdon on a fine summer morning. And these, of course, are the dodgem carts, stationary for once. My shadow, elongated at first light, provides a counterpoint.
