5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Sept. 16, 2017) The amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) chief petty officer (CPO) selectees march to "Anchors Aweigh," kicking off the CPO pinning ceremony on the ship's flight deck. Pearl Harbor is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
