The Three Crosses Hill

The town of Kazimierz Dolny lies at the foot of the hill that was named Cross Hill In 1708 three crosses like the ones at Golgotha were placed there to commemorate the many victims of the plague The slopes of the hill are covered with rare plants which are protected by law In spite of the many beech hazel and elm trees one can still see the whole of Kazimierz
