19/06/21 Commission Fea0100673. L/R: Louise Whiteley (Hermia), Kirsty Goddard (Puck), Nick Wardle (Oberon), Emily Upton (Titania) and Rob Hall (Bottom). With only a couple of days before the longest day of the year, and taking advantage of an early morning break from the rain, The Hathersage Players, perform a dress-rehearsal of A Midsummer Night's Dream, in the grounds of Hathersage Hall, in the Derbyshire Peak District. Covid-19 has forced the the amateur dramatic group to Ôwait in the wingsÕ for eighteen months before being able to stage ShakespeareÕs summertime play. Performances start in-doors on June 22 at ÔThe Round BuildingÕ culminating with three outdoor shows in the gardens of Hathersage Hall on Saturday 26th June and Sunday 27th.
