Vine vigorous, healthy and hardy, is productive and a good'keeper. Champion (Talraan)—This variety is valued chiefly for its earliness, being a number J or days earlier than the Hartford, and nearly or quite equal to the latter in flavor. ^ Concord—A popular variety where the choice kinds fail to ripen : universally healthy, vigorous and productive; flesh somewhat buttery, moderately juicy and sweet. Bunch large, nearly black with bloom ; early. Cottage—Seedling of Concord, a little smaller in and berry, more compact, sweeter, and a few daj's earlier. Vine a rank grower, healthy and hardy.
