War Memorial, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire. Made of Ham Hill stone the memorial stands on land given to the village by Captain Montague Norman (later Lord Norman). The site was largely laid out by ex-servicemen. Two hundred and twenty four men from the parish served in World War I. The forty three who gave their lives are recorded on the memorial, together with thirteen names of those who gave their lives during World War II
