Tumor cell - car-t

Tumor cell, CAR-T cell, treatment by immunotherapy with gene encoding CAR. This illustration shows a cancerous tumor in the lower right. T cells are shown on the left side of the illustration. These lymphocytes are modified with the gene encoding CAR (in green). They are called CART-T cells or CART-T cells. They attack the cancer cell to kill it thanks to this coding gene present on their surface. CAR-T cells are a rapidly developing new form of immunotherapy. They allow T lymphocytes to recognize cancer cells and destroy them.
