Honnigsvag is the most northerly town of Norway and therefore of Europe. It was settled more than 10,300 years ago. It is warmed by the gulf stream which means that the temperature is always 36 degrees Fahrenheit. the town is situated on the southernmost side of Mageroy Nord Kapp is at the northern side The Sami people live as nomads on the island with their reindeer. The famous dog 'Bamse' comes from Honnigsvag.
