Parity.—In the table on page 348 has been arranged the relative frequency ofcases according to the number of preceding labors (-para), added to the numberof mature labors, under primiparae, pluriparae (pluriparas II, III, IV, and Vparae),and multiparae. The table shows that in primigravidae, gestation is least endangered in the firstmonths of pregnancy, and that the frequency of interruption in primigravidae in-creases with the further advance of pregnancy.
