It has since been met with in various other situations, and has lately been established beyond a doubt as a native; as William Bean, Esq. of Scarborough, has a specimen which was taken alive off the Scarborough coast by a fishermans line; and he besides found a dead specimen amongst a heap of the Modiola papuana, both of which are in his cabinet.
