180402-N-LV695-80 VIRGINIA (April 2, 2018) Casket bearers of the United States Navy Ceremonial Guard secure the flag on top of the casket of Medal of Honor recipient Capt. Thomas J. Hudner, Jr. at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport during a dignified transfer ceremony. Hudner, who passed away Nov. 13, will be laid to rest April 4 at Arlington National Cemetery. A naval aviator, Hudner earned the Medal of Honor for his actions in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War.
