In 1880, the dreams of the sunny, determined boyselling papers after school hours were realized, and began business on his own account. He openeda job printing establishment, which he conducted suc-cessfully for thirty-eight years. In November, 1913, hewas elected to the office of jury commissioner, and at theexpiration of his first term was re-elected.
