Agronomy and Genetics, 1926 congress. Group photograph of the attendees at the Agronomy and Genetics sections of the 4th International Botanical Congress (International Congress of Plant Sciences, IBC), held at Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York, USA, from 16-21 August 1926. The congress was split into 13 sections, including horticulture, forestry, pharmacognosy, morphology, ecology and taxonomy. Nearly 800 people attended, from the USA and abroad. The programme included an excursion by the Agronomy and Genetics sections to the nearby New York Agricultural Experiment Station at Geneva, New York, USA.
