The Roman Catholic servicce for the late Major Sean Birchall 1st Battalion Welsh Guards tock place at1215 hours on Wednesday 6th of July 2009 at hte Guards Chapel Wellington Birchalls's commanding officer Lt Col Rupert thornelce who was also tragically killed on operations just a few days ago on July 1st, said that he was a future led from the front and his soldiers would have followed him anywhere.
