Gatehouse of the Chateau de Crevecoeur, Crevecoeur-en-Auge, Normandy, France. The gatehouse dates from the 15th to 16th centuries. The Chateau complex, which comprises several timber framed and stone buildings, was founded in the 11th century. Buildings such as the donjon, workshops and chapel, were later used as farm buildings. The Schlumberger Foundation owns the Chateau, and has restored the buildings.
