French Foreign Legion recruits (Engagé Volontaires) walk along a desolate road as the sun rises while on their "Kepi march" near the 4REI, 2CIE's farm outside Castelnaudary on March 9, 2010. The 50km march is required of all recruits and marks the end of their time at "the Farm" and the beginning of their life as Kepi Blac-wearing Legionnaires.
