The Horn-billed Puffin is not known to have occurred as far north as Bering Sea, or even on the Aleutian Islands; but it is common on the American shores of the Pacific, breeding on the islands near the coast, as far north as Sitka on the southern coast of Alaska, and as far south as the Farallon Islands near San Francisco. 278.
