TRINCOMALEE, Sri Lanka (Nov. 24, 2016) Sri Lankan Marines get hands-on combat life-saver training with Marines in the proper use of a tourniquet during a Theater Security Cooperation training event at Sri Lanka Naval Base, Trincomalee, Nov. 24, 2016. Marines taught basic combat life-saver procedures to create a baseline for the Sri Lankan Marines. The 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the 7th Fleet’s area of responsibility in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
