HOLMFS HARRISBURG, PA. 11 Market Gardeners' Beets. THE. THREE BEETS FOR THE MARKET=GARDENER HARRISBURG MARKET BLOOD TURNIP BEET The earliest and decidedly the handsomest distinct new Beet in cultivation The Harrisburg Market Beet is well represented in the illustration given. It is of a true turnip shape, has a single tap-root, a smooth skin, a rich, tender quality and is free from the woodiness so often found in early varie- ties. It is ready to use in 45 days from time of planting and does not become coarse or stringy, with large size, like other varieties. Compared with such famous sorts as Edmands, Earyptian, Eclipse and Columbia, the Harrisburg Market has proved far in advance of them all, and even betier in quality. This Beet is a thoroughbred in every particular. The tops are small, neat and rich pur- ple, with lighter ribs. For a constant supply, successive sowings should be made through the spring and early summer. Our customers praise this Beet. Pkt. 5 cts., oz. 10 cts., %lh. 30 cts., lb. 90 cts,, by mail, postpaid. The leaf-stems are dark red, blades green, roots globe-shaped and very smooth; skin dark blood-red; flesh bright red, very crisp, tender and sweet. After thorough trials we believe this to be the best Beet obtainable, of its class, a'nd can recommend it to o
