Wesson at50 Maple street has been given to the Connecticut ValleyHistorical Society, according to an announcement made atthe meeting of the directors of the association at the UnionTrust Companys building yesterday afternoon. The gift isprovisional to the raising by the society of a permanent fundof ^100,000, the income of which is to be used for Pierpont Morgan has already offered to give ^10,000 towardthis fund and the gift of the general committee of the 275thanniversary, amounting to ^250, is also available.
