At the top a raised, round stamp surface. Used to strike the other side of a marker's mark. On the stamp surface a climbing lion with a raised scimitar in his leg is depicted under a crown. The other leg rests on an asymmetrical shield with the coat of arms of Leiden. On both sides the arms of the mayors: mr. H. van der Meer van Hoogeveen, mr. R. Groenendijck, mr. Johan Meerman and H. Schuijl
