, Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania - Theatersaal im Parlamentspalast (Palatul Parlamentului), auch bekannt als -Haus des Volkes- (Casa Poporului), dem beruechtigten Palast aus Ceausescus Zeiten. Unter anderen befinden sich hier das Rumaenische Parlament und das Internationale Konferenzzentrum (Centrul International de Conferinte). Der Palast ist nach dem P e n t a g o n das zweitgroesste Gebaeude weltweit. Ein Fuenftel der Altstadt wurde zu Ceausescus Zeiten abgerissen, um Platz fuer das neue sozialistische Zentrum, das -Centrul Civic- (zu dem der Palast gehoert), zu schaffen. GT
