The St. Joseph Pier inner and outer lights. The St. Joseph Lighthouse or North Inner Pier Lighthouse is an active lighthouse on Lake Michigan at the entrance of the St. Joseph River. The inner lighthouse dates from 1907 and outer light from 1906. The lights are owned by the Coast Guard. As is often the case the pier and lights can often be peppered by high waves and active lake waters. The lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
