Participants run with a burning tar barrel through the streets of Ottery St Mary, Devon, as tens of thousands of people pack the streets to catch a glimpse. The event, which is over 400 years old, sees competitors run with burning barrels on their backs until they break up or the heat becomes unbearable. 05 November 2013.
