NEXT BIG FARM NEEDIS A NEW SILO. Bam And Milk House The Barn and Milk-house have beenbuilt since Mr. Barkley came to be super-intendent of The Orphanage. The newbuildings were erected on the back sideof the farm, removing the unsightly oldbuildings near the entrance to thegrounds. Nothing is left of the old buildingsbut the foundations and the old Silo.(Picture in November, Our MountainWork) . When a new silo is built nearthe new barn two things will have beenaccomplished. The storage of silage willbe much more convenient for feedingthe live stock. It will be possible to re-move the old silo and beautify the ap-proach to the campus. The swimming pool which has beenbegun by the Lions Club of BlackMountain is just beyond the foundationsof the old barn. It is hoped that thiswill be finished in time for summerswimming in 1953. The Board has ordered that an asphalttile be laid in the hallways of the dor-mitory, by contract, and that paint bepurchased to refinish the interior of thedormitory an
