Henderson was Leader of the Labour Party on three occasions (1908 - 1910, 1914 - 1917 + 1931 - 1932), served as Home Secretary (1924) and Foreign Secretary (1929 - 1931) and received his Nobel Prize for his work promoting international disarmament.
