Coconut coir is used to stabilize and revegetate an area along Sauerkraut Creek being restored after damage from gold mining.
To hold the coconut mat in place over the dirt and coir roll, wood stakes are pounded into the dirt. This creek restoration was conducted at Sauerkraut Creek near Lincoln, Montana.
