Homo rhodesiensis skull


Homo rhodesiensis or heidelbergensis skull discovered in 1921 by Tom Zwiglaar at the site of Kabwe (formerly Broken Hill) in Zambia. Dating from around 300,000 years ago, this is the first early human fossil found in Africa.
