Hospital hygiene. Doctor using a paper towel to dry her hands after washing them at a hand wash station on a hospital ward. Cleanliness in hospitals helps prevent the spread of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) such as MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus). Paper towels provide the safest way of drying hands as they are disposed of immediately after use. Photographed at the West Middlesex University Hospital, London, UK.
