Members from the 442d Fighter Wing wear chemical protective gear while performing tasks on the flight line during Exercise Ozark Thunder 21-01, June 6 through 8, 2021, on Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. Exercise Ozark Thunder 21-01 is a readiness exercise designed to demonstrate the members' ability to wear chemical and biological protective gear while executing mission essential functions. Maintainers from the 442d Maintenance Group were authorized to remove components of their protective gear based on certain alarm conditions.
