The remains of a medieval hospice at Llawhaden, Pembrokeshire. An impressive castle is a short distance up the road. This is probably the chapel from the hospiace - the original hospice woulod have been several buildings. The hospice at Llawhaden was founded by Bishop Bek in the late 1200's. At this time the hospice was alongside a busy thoroughfare to St Davids.
