Director Joseph Martin, of the Center for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (CFE-DM), welcomes participants to the Health and Humanitarian Action in Emergencies (HHAE) course at James Cook University in Cairns, Australia, Nov. 27. CFE-DM and James Cook University’s College of Public Health, Medical and Veterinary Sciences jointly developed the course to train professionals on principles and practices of humanitarian relief.
