Encierros de los San Fermines de Pamplona. Visitors from all around the world arrive for the adrenaline quenching festival of San Fermin, where the bulls run each morning, through the narrow streets of Pamplona to the bull ring. A local once told me that for one week the people of Pamplona, who are normally serious and hardworking are instantly transformed into the fun loving people of Andalucia in Southern Spain. Men and women run alongside the bulls, watch the run on plasma screen TVs in the local bars, party, attend the afternoon bullfight and 24 hour party continues for 7 nights, non stop… until the next year!
